What is Samento?
Samento or Cat’s Claw is a powerful plant derived into a liquid supplement that provides numerous health benefits. The difference with Nutramedix’s blend, is the type of Cat’s claw used.
Within the same plant species, different chemotypes may occur. Cat’s Claw most commonly contains both Pentacyclic Oxindole Alkaloids (POAs) and Tetracyclic Oxindole Alkaloids (TOAs). Multiple studies published in peer-reviewed journals suggest that the preferred chemotype contains only POA’s, which are often recognized as providing immune support benefits, promoting a balanced immune system. In 2000, NutraMedix introduced our proprietary Samento liquid supplement, using a rare chemotype of Cat’s Claw that does not contain TOAs and only contains POAs, delivering cardiovascular, microbial, and immune support.
NutraMedix Samento does not contain the tetracyclic oxindole alkaloids (TOAs) that are found in other traditional Cat's Claw supplements.
Nonetheless, Nutramedix’s Samento is able to leverage Cat’s Claw benefits to promote healthy bloog pressure, brain and memory health, and provide immune support.

Samento Dosing Instructions
Put 1 to 30 drops of Samento liquid supplement in 4 oz (120 mL) of water and wait one minute before drinking. Start with 1 drop of Samento (30 min. before meals) increasing slowly up to 30 drops 2-4 times per day or as directed by your physician.

Keep the bottle tightly closed in a dry place at room temperature (59-86°F or 15-30°C). Shake well before use. With the liquid supplement dropper, add the Samento drops to a 4 oz. glass of water, not distilled or reverse osmosis. Do not place drops in hot water. Allow the drops to sit in the water for at least one minute before drinking. Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Stop use if adverse reactions develop.

The recommended doses for NutraMedix products are intended for an average size adult that weighs between 120-170 pounds. For children 4 and older, for every 30 pounds, a fourth of the dose is recommended.
