Bromelain

from pineapple stem’s ability to digest protein provides biofilm support, facilitates a healthy inflammatory response, and supports tissue healing.* Bromelain supports a healthy inflammatory response through maintaining prostaglandins, nuclear factor kappa-B (NF-kappaB), and other parameters already within the normal range.*¹,² Bromelain may also help maintain the normal transformation of plasminogen to plasmin, which maintains healthy fibrin levels already within the normal range.*³,⁴
 

Vitamin C

is derived from a highly purified source of ascorbic acid and contributes to antioxidant support, particularly helping convert oxidized glutathione (GSSG) back to its active, reduced form (GSH), and helping maintain normal glutathione concentrations in the plasma, as well as within red and white blood cells.* ⁵⁻⁷ A potent antioxidant and free radical scavenger, Vitamin C is necessary for growth and development and aids in the repair of all of our bodily tissues.*

Vitamins D3 & K2

work together synergistically to support both bone and cardiovascular health, while Vitamin D3 helps with comprehensive immune support.* Vitamin D receptors are found on a variety of immune cells,⁸,⁹ and Vitamin D supports both the innate immunity we are born with and the adaptive immunity we develop.* Together, Vitamins D3 & K2 help maintain osteocalcin (OC) and bone alkaline phosphatase (BAP), serum markers of bone health, already within the normal range.¹⁰

Magnesium Malate

is a highly available form of Magnesium that helps support intestinal regularity, helps convert dietary macronutrients into energy, and supports joint and muscle health.* It also plays an important role in energy production via adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is the source of energy for use and storage at the cellular level.*

Dandelion

is an herbal extract of dandelion leaf, which has been used for centuries in traditional health maintenance, including liver and detox support, metabolic support, antioxidant support, healthy inflammatory response support, and the normal urinary excretion of waste.* Dandelion leaves support endogenous superoxide dismutase (SOD), an enzyme that helps break down potentially harmful oxygen molecules in the body’s cells, and glutathione (GSH), which is vital in helping the liver perform its detoxifying functions. Dandelion also helps support the liver through maintaining the liver enzymes aspartate transaminase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) already within the normal range.¹¹,¹²
